They say “It takes a village” and at AmpSurf we truly believe that is true. AmpSurf only works because of three key members of the family; the Athlete Participants, the Volunteers, and the Program Sponsors! To be successful in making sure everything happens to do the clinics, it takes all three  working together to complete our mission to; “Promote, Inspire, Educate, and Rehabilitate (PIER) all people with disabilities and their families through adaptive surfing and other outdoor activities.”

Each of our one day clinics cost $4700+, our multi-day events can run from $10,000-$20,000 each! Though it is all fun and high fives at the beach, the majority of the work is done in the background! Permits, insurance, advertising, equipment, travel, lodging, meals and events eat up most of the time and funds we raise. We are always working to find ways to raise funds for the program. The online store, doing special events like Poker Runs, Golf Tournaments, Restaurant parties, you name it we are doing it! We also seek grants and sponsorships. But….
We have learned the best way to make these events happen and keep the program going is to have all of us that take part in them, work together and enlist the people and companies we interact with everyday to raise the funds that make it all possible.

Whether as a Participant or a Volunteer, if you can join us in our effort, we need you! On this page are all the tools you need to be successful in doing your very own fundraising event or online campaign. If you have any problems or need assistance in your efforts, please do not hesitate to email us. We will do everything we can to work with you and make sure you are successful. If we don’t succeed in this together the program doesn’t succeed.

Please let me know if I can help. I set up a GoFundMe page and with in a couple weeks raised $500+ for the program with a goal of $10,000.  You don't have to set your goal as high as mine, I am trying to build for the whole program. Keep it real, if you signed up for one event, just try and raise enough to get one participant covered for that event ($192/day). f you raise more, it will go towards helping others who may be having a harder time. If your doing it as a volunteer, just know when you come to the event, YOU made it possible for a participant to be there!
