Five 2 Thrive Campaign

We are asking all of our friends, and supporters to stand with us and those we serve by pledging to do a recurring donation of just $5 a month. This small amount will allow AmpSurf to be able to continue putting on great programs like Operation Restoration, East Coast Week, Wine Waves and Beyond, pay for staff and continue to sponsor participants from all over the country. Please help keep this great program thriving, put your money behind a program that is dedicated to serving our disabled veterans and local disabled. One in five Americans struggle with a lifelong disability and nearly two million men and women have served our country in Iraq and Afghanistan, and are coming home looking for ways to feel whole again and to fit back in to normal life. Whether they are an amputee, blind, suffer from PTSD, or have quadriplegia. Whether they served in WWII, Korea, Vietnam, the Gulf war, Iraq or Afghanistan. Whether they are a child of Autism, or a young woman who has lost a limb to Cancer, AmpSurf offers a unique program to bring the healing power of the ocean and adaptive surfing together for an experience that is both mentally and physically one of the best forms of rehabilitation on the planet. Our goal is simple, we want to help our disabled veterans, adults & children focus on their abilities not their disabilities. To do this we strive to Promote, Inspire, Educate and Rehabilitate these great Americans and the public by providing a quality program and the opportunity for the participants and volunteers to come together and feel the joy & healing of the ocean and surfing. For 8 years AmpSurf has been providing our Learn to Surf Clinics and we have served hundreds of our disabled veterans, adults and children who probably never would have had this experience if it had not been for our program.  Equipment we need:
20 foot Trailers – For 3 new chapters
Beach wheelchairs -we currently need two for new chapters
Rescue/Stand up paddle boards
Soft-top surfboards
Helmets
Wetsuits – Mainly we need childrens wetsuits all sizes and mens 2xl and 3XL.
Booties -all sizes
Gloves -Gloves all sizes
Pop-Ups Canopies
Sun-block
Office supplies – paper, ink, clipboards, pens…If you or someone you know can help us out with any of these items please
send them our way. Things do not need to be new, just in working condition.
