Welcome to the Association of Amputee Surfers (AmpSurf). AmpSurf has been created/founded by Rodney Roller, Dana Cummings, Greg Birkholz, Pat Flexi, and John D. Hollingsead, C.P.O. Certified Prosthetist-Orthotist of North County Prosthetics & Orthotics

Our First Newsletter!!!!!!!!
This is our first newsletter.    We have came a long way and still have much more to go.   This newsletter will go out to our members and all interested parties. We do ask for a small donation (min. $5.00 per year) to pay for printing and design costs. Please go to the donations page to learn more about where to send your donations.
 Once on our mailing list you will receive an AmpSurf sticker, quarterly newsletters containing information on upcoming events, informative articles on issues surrounding amputees, and updates on what the organization is doing.                                 

 

What’s New

·    We now have our AmpSurf stickers, please click on the link to view in full size. 

bullet Dana Cummings is our newest member.  Dana is a recent left leg, below knee amputee.  Dana had just started surfing before his amputation and still wants to learn to surf.  I have taken him out, and he will be surfing soon.  
bullet Dana is also working to put our web site together for us. If you have any comments or suggestions please drop him line.
bullet  There is a press release going out this month to various surfing and amputee publications, In-Motion, and Long Boarder Magazine, are a couple. We are hopeful that several publications will pick us up and begin publishing our stories.
