Wakeboard Man

This summer has been nothing but adventures. I have gotten to rock climb, wind surf, Water-ski , travel to Africa, and now wakeboard. I tried to wake board for the first time in June 2002, and much to my dismay ended up loosing my leg in the lake. Upon returning to the States from my trip to Africa my friends Mark and Dave invited me out for some fun on their new boat, and try my hand again behind the boat riding the board.

After plowing for the first ten or fifteen attempts I finally got the hang of it, and was able to navigate my way over the waves and even attempt a couple of tricks. Granted a few times I did face plants, and butt wipes, but I was able to hold my own and ride the wake at speeds up to 30 m.p.h. Below are some pictures from a day on the lake.
